New Program ShopYourWay

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ShopYourWay Program for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

PersonalShopper.jpg

Do you enjoy shopping? I am not really a huge fan of shopping but I do like to shop online. One of the reasons that I choose to shop online is because it is much easier to shop online than it is to shop in a store. Think about it. When you go shopping in the store you have to get dressed, drive to the store, shop, wait in line to check out, drive back home, and unload whatever you purchased. That can be time consuming.

One thing I really enjoy about shopping online is getting cash back. If you sign up to sites that offer cash back for things you have to spend money on anyway it is like getting paid to shop. Since you have to shop anyway, you might as well get some of your money back. There is nothing like getting your cash back check or gift card that you are free to use however you wish.

I recently signed up for a rewards program called ShopYourWay. It is a social shopping platform that makes it easy for you to find new products and share them with your friends. You are like a personal shopper.

The way you earn cash and rewards is when your friends make purchases at Kmart, Lands’ End, Sears, Sears Home Services, mygofer, and Sears Outlet. You can recommend items to your friends through their Personal Shopper homepage. When your friends purchase things using your ShopYourWay Rewards number you earn 1%. Every bit adds up and when you get $20 in a month you get a check.

It was super easy to sign up and get an account. All you have to do is  Request an Invite to ShopYourWay and it came for me like right away to my email. Once you get the email you click on “start earning”. Then, the screen pops up and you click on “accept invitation”. After that you will need to follow the steps to fill out your profile. Then, you can invite your friends to join with Facebook, Yahoo mail, or Gmail. It really is very easy to do. Once you get to the end, you will see a welcome page like this:

Give it a shot! You can join the ShopYourWay program and earn a little extra cash along the way!

Lose your phone often?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sprint for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

HTCEVOSHIFT_GCVS_settings menu.jpg (5 documents)

Some of us are not too good with keeping up with things. I have misplaced cell phones, keys, children- okay not children but you get the point. Wouldn't it be nice to have a product that helps to keep up with at least one of those things?

Sprint offers the Sprint Total Equipment Protection App. Sprint customers on Android, Blackberry, or other select cell phones can download the app which will make it possible for you to locate your phone, sync contacts, remotely wipe out your phone (if it is stolen or lost), lock your phone, or sound an alarm. Sprint customers can sign up until August 30th. You will be up and running in just a few minutes.

Have you ever had a little water spill on your phone only to have it become unusable? Or, have you jumped into a swimming pool with your cell phone in your pocket? The Total Equipment Protection App provides protection for such accidents. The TEP app provides a quick and easy way for you to receive a replacement phone if anything happens to your phone because no one likes being without their cell phone.

Check out the YouTube Video below for more information about this great offer.

Save Money with Straight Talk

This post brought to you by Straight Talk. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you seen the commercials on tv about Straight Talk? One of my favorites is the couple who come out of the store and head toward their car. They actually go towards some fancy luxury vehicle and the wife wants to know why her keyless entry wasn't working. The husband reminds her that they own a different vehicle- a station wagon.

I love the idea that Straight Talk makes you feel richer because you spend less money on their phone bills. Who doesn't want that? You can cut your phone bill in half! What could you buy with the money you save on Straight Talk? They get you hook, line and sinker with the cheap price!

To get straight talk you don't need a credit check or a contract. We are thinking about switching over to Straight Talk when our cell phone contract is over. It costs $45 a month to use Straight Talk and the All you Need plan has 1,000 minutes of talk time, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data. So you can talk, text, and surf the web with Straight Talk. And you can make international calls to call a friend.

If we switch over I would like to get a cool smartphone. If I really want to go the frugal route, I can get one of the reconditioned phones starting at $10. These phones still have a camera, mp3 player, internet access, and Blue Tooth capability. Straight Talk has everything you need for your phone.

My Walgreens Brand Product Experience

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

120x30_WalgrensTransparentLogo

I have had the opportunity to shop a Walgreens a few times. Unfortunately, there is not a Walgreens in our town, or I would shop there weekly. I have, however, had the opportunity to try one or two of Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products. The product that I tried recently was the Walgreens brand PM Extra Strength Pain Reliever. Since I used to have sleeping problems, I would occasionally take a product like that to help me sleep. I worked just as good for me as other similar products.

I would definitely try other Walgreens products because they help save money and they are pharmacist recommended. You'd have to figure that pharmacists know a lot about medicine, so if they recommend Walgreens products that's good enough for me! People may be hesitant to try store brand products, but these products usually have the same active ingredients as name brand products so you save money when you go for a store brand product.

And Walgreens contributes 3 million dollars yearly to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™. So you can help make a small contribution to a program that offers free health tests and other wellness services to local communities when you make a purchase. There are a few blogs offering giveaways of Walgreens gift cards. Check them out!  Advertisement

Exploring your options

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fannie Mae. All opinions are 100% mine.

With the economy the way it is, it can be scary wondering how you are going to pay your bills. Have you ever wondered how close you are to being foreclosed on? I mean, we have been through some hard times financially and we are not financially irresponsible people. It's scary thinking about how it can happen to anyone. I'm sure that many people who go through foreclosures are there because of financial catastrophes and not because of living out of their means.

Our money woes came from my husband's poor health. When he got his kidney transplant almost two years ago, it was a wonderful life changing event. However, we had to go back and forth to the transplant hospital which was four hours away from our house. I had to work part of the time because I'm in my twenties and don't have that much paid leave time available. When I ran out of paid leave time there were times that I had to be with my husband, so I didn't get paid. That can snowball quickly. Add to that the fact that later on in the same year we had our first child. Surprise! If you're a parent you know how expensive children can be. We were able to pay all of our bills somehow but we are just now starting to catch up from the year where I made $9,000 dollars less than normal with the same amount (or more) bills that had to be paid. We could have been a foreclosure story if we would have had a major financial emergency.

If you are overwhelmed with your financial situation, you can check out KnowYourOptions.com.You may have faced similar sites hopefully only to find out was not what you thought it was. This site has  a tab called Beware of Scams that can provide helpful information. I personally haven't been affected by foreclosure but I know many people have. It helps to have a resource to turn to. Visit KnowYourOption.com to find out more information.
